2. Shipping Method

There are 3 types of shipping methods available on fonder.com. And usually our procurement dept or our supplier is responsible for the arrangement of shipping method and applying to the customs.

A) Ocean freight

Ocean freight is widely used on Fonder.com, If the merchandise's weight is more than 1000kg or size bigger than 1 cubic meter, people usually use ocean freight only to ship their goods, it will be much more affordable than air freight.

The disadvantage is speed, especially the distance is long, for example, from China to argentina, it will take about 40 days, from China to France or Uk, it takes about 28 days.

Ocean freight is widely used on export/import business.

B) Air freight

Compared to ocean freight, the advantages of air freight is fast,secure and accurate.

Due to the much lower starting charging point than ocean freight,although the price for air freight is much higher, it is still widely used for shipping small size parcel,fresh and seasonal goods, and precious goods.

C) Road and Rail freight

Road and rail freight is widely used for overland transport across Europe, parts of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), North Africa and the Middle East, It is also often used for domestic shippment within countries like United States or China etc.
